i dont care what backlash i get from this but im gonna speak up because i personally think its inconsiderate to feel any type of way (badly) about a black mermaid. who cares, mermaids arent real but different types of people are so if we can FINALLY see more of that on tv/movies i dont get the problem. fuck your traditions. its sad theres still an outroar when it comes to things being represented by POC because growing up I didnt have any different characters i could look up to & say "hey they're like me" so for people to refer to the one movie "princess and the frog" & act like that's supposed to be enough for us is just unfair. & i hate the fact there's even controversy over this, grow up. thats my 2 cents.
