Does anyone have any tips on sleep training a 9 month old? I can’t do CIO it’s not for me it really wears my nerves but I need him to sleep in his own crib he is a wild sleeper.

He sleeps in the bedroom with us we bed share. He had severe reflux as a baby and would choke in the middle of the night if he wasn’t elevated so we kept him in our bed with a dockatot slightly elevated as his Ped suggested but he’s outgrown the dockatot and is mobile now so we need to transition him to his crib to avoid any accidents but it’s extremely difficult he is use to touching me or my hubby at night.

Have you considered a bedside crib? We placed a mini crib right next to our bed and then gradually got him into his own room. You start with the crib right next to the bed and gradually move it farther away...

We have a mini crib it sits right next to my bedside so he can see me and I’m only a couple steps away from him. It’s still tough I never should’ve let him stay in our bed but I was nursing and the reflux all combined with me not being able to get out of bed on my own because of my csection it seemed like a great idea at first but now the only way he will sleep is near me or on me.
