When your toddler is acting like a baby do you let it go or do something about it.. and iknow kids act like this I have looked up what to do but what do you guys do?

It depends on what you mean. When he gets whiny about not getting his way and starts crying, I send him to sit and calm down because that behavior doesn’t help anyone

I started to ignore it after her third birthday when she would whine unless I knew she was tired. She's acts like a "baby" and babbles on occasion but ignoring is the best method for us. I found that even reminding her that she was a big girl only made it worse.

Up to you but I think calling attention to it makes it worse. Ds4 used to cuss. Bad. Once we started just ignoring it, even when he screamed fack at the top of his lungs, he stopped. Same thing when he is with us and acts like his baby brother.

Mine goes though those spells. With chewing I just give him a chew toy. Sometimes it's because he wants to be silly, other times he has some discomfort which chewing helps (jaw is growing and molars are due around age 4). I'd rather him chew the teething toys then the good toys. For whining or pretending to be a baby. I just ask him if he needs some extra cuddles and ask him if he can use his words. If he asks I cuddle. As for diaper behavior he knows that he can do it himself or help. Same with his sister. Both know what's expected and both know I will stop and wait until they stop before cleaning them. If they get gross.... into the shower to get cleaned off. I just try and encourage both to use their words to get whatever they want.

My stepson is 2 1/2 he uses pull ups he knows how to pull them down and up with no help but now I guess he can't and will wine. He still can't talk tho so it's hard to know what he wants or needs

understandable. Maybe sign language or a visual with help him communicate in the meantime. Being able to communicate in some form is super important. It's a hard skill
