They told me they arent worried I'll just have to stay in the hospital for 2 days instead of 1. I think I had it my last pregnancy just cant remember. And my iron levels were good but I'm more anemic than I was before. Those iron pills make me sick😞
Right, they give you antibiotics after birth so they make you stay that extra day. The new things these Drs are doing, I just need a safe labor & healthy baby. I go to the Dr for 4 so she'll tell me more info on it
well with my son I got there when I was already 10 cm so I didn’t have time to get IV antibiotics. They didn’t give me any after birth though. They just monitored my son for signs of infection
I just had my baby last week and was released after 24 hours as was my baby. However my cousin gave birth in January and was also positive and they made her stay 48 hours. I think it’s up to either the dr/midwife or hospitals rules.
I was told if I test positive then I will receive antibiotics through IV before I give birth! My OB didn’t say anything about staying more days in the hospital!
Yea my Dr wants me to stay 2 days instead of 1 which is cool but maaaan I hate when they come in & out the damn room when you're trying to rest. And my 5 yr old has a disability and goes to a special daycare, my nanny works and she would be the one watching him. Now I'm praying I go into labor on a Fri!

I did. It’s no big deal, you just have to be at the hospital soon to get some antibiotics in you. No taking your time to labor at home.

I did. Just had to get antibiotics during labour. I ended up having a c section anyway though.

I tested positive this pregnancy I was negative with my first so it’s new to me. I was told I’d just be given antibiotics during labor.
