Ok maybe I'm a bit slow on this considering it's my first and he was still small last summer. How do life vests work? I've been to numerous stores and can only find stage 2 (I think) and it's like 35lbs+. My son is maaaybe 28lbs, def not 35. But I can't find a vest for a smaller size. Am I missing something? Also, I've been looking since they started stocking them in stores so def not an issue of sold out. All the workers could tell me was that what they had was out.

my son has a baby’s first life jacket, it’s 30-50lbs but it still fits him kind of weird.

Yes you need an infants vest (most notable for the pillow at the neck). You may have to check Amazon or like a BuyBuyBaby type store.

Yes an infant vest! My daughter had one. I got it off of Amazon. She preferred a float though or me just holding her. She learned to swim when she was 2.5

I'll have to get one online. They all start 30+ in store. Weighed him this am 24.4 lol so not even close 🤣
