4 year old checkup! I raised concerns about her speech - I feel like she’s a little behind, and with her starting pre-K this fall, I don’t want her to be made fun of. She’s still 100 percentile in everything! Super healthy, and the doctor praised me a few times for her pescatarian diet. She didn’t express any real worry about her speech, but said she refer me to a speech therapist to make me feel better. Hopefully we hear from them soon! I also needed speech therapy as a child - and look how well I speak now 😏. She said her metal capacity is perfect, she just seems to get excited and smoosh words together. 😅

She’s getting so big and mature. Nothing wrong with a little speech therapy. I needed it. Aarem still needs it at almost 8 years old.

I just got my 2 and a half year old signed up for speech! Im hoping it helps him. Always follow your gut. My doctor wasn't concerned with his speech either but when he had his assessment they said he could benefit from it.

my 4 yr old barely starting to talk but not full sentences .I told the doctor and I tough she was going to refer a speech therapist and she say school is going to do that 😑

So annoying. 🤦🏼♀️. Mine mentioned that I could call the county school line, but “it will just be easier for you if I put in a reference.” I’m lucky.
