Ladies who have had preeclampsia.. my friend has gone to the doctors today and they sent her straight upto hospital how long after are you induced? Her blood pressure is high and ankles swelled etc.. she's 38 weeks today.

With me they was guna induce me at few days before my due date, but I went into labour anyway.. if it's bad they'll want to induce her asap tbh x

She's not due till the 15th so I doubt they will wait till then x

it depends on how the baby is and how high her blood pressure is plus the protein, she'll probably have a scan as well if shes not had one recently x

I was 39 weeks went in just for usual check up had 5mg of protein in pee but blood pressure was fine at that point so they kept me in and kept monitoring me, early hours in morning my blood pressure went really really high and they induced me there and then! Xxx

depending how baby and mum is if they can control it for a bit they will but she'll stay in hospital, if blood pressure goes really high or any sign of baby showing distress then they'll act on it xxx

All depends on how the baby and mother is doing, they will keep baby in as long as they can as long as it's safe. My sister went to hospital at 30 weeks pregnant and they gave her a c-section at 32 weeks.

They've given her some blood pressure tablets and she's having a scan today because they think baby is small for 38 weeks. Baby is fine but they are worried about my friend so keeping a close eye x

Ive been recently diagnosed im always in hospital at least twice a week they may try and manage it gor as long as possible but as shes so far along they may induce straight away. Im 31+6 and theyre trying to get me as far as possible b4 delivering me

Yeah you're too early to be induced yet.. I was induced at 36+5 and had to have steroid injections to help Noahs lungs x

Yh they contemplated delivering me last sat tho by csection but things calmed dwn theyve given me the injections too as i can take a turn for the worse at any time now theyre a killer those injections im really hoping i can last between 34 to 37 weeks
