You try to reach out to people who you think will understand you more because they have autistic children and honestly it can be more judgmental than talking to someone who don’t have autistic children ☹️😑

I'm sorry to hear people are being so rude. Have you watched the show called Atypical on Netflix? I swear I am not trying to be rude! I have a stepson and a cousin who are autistic. And watching the show kinda made me understand them a little more.

oh good! I don't know what it feels like from first hand experience, but I know that it is challenging for my husband and my step son. Even my step son's sister says things occasionally that are not respectful and is just harsh when it comes to her brother. People can be so rude and inconsiderate. And it is such a shame because people with autism are just like anybody else. They are perfect human-beings inside and out.

I know how you feel... Im in a group.on Facebook with autism odd and adhd etc. Some are so rude and judgemental

My kid isnt autistic but I've met many an autistic person in my life. In high school this one autistic kid hung around me because the freshmen were bullies for no reason and I was 'scary teri" and the freshmen would not fuck with me
