Do any moms on here live in Arizona? Considering relocating the fam to a state that’s more affordable than CA and where ultimately we can spend more time together

Yeah I’m paying 1850 including some utilities, but no rent control. And I like outside of la. For food it’s like 600+ a month
It’s sooo expensive and rent keeps raising every year while salary stays the same.
Also my 2.5 hour commute a day is awful.

I lived there for many years; basically raised there. Definitely a lot cheaper and way more nice! Depending on the area. HOT as hell though
@mumstasin, No I currently live in LA. But I think about moving back for more support from family often! But if I were you I would check out renting/owning in areas like Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler. Very nice and family oriented but Tempe is more younger folks
@sarahoncloudss, I’ve been trying to look on YouTube but not a lot of families on there moving that way! Thanks! I know the heat is what has been stopping us, but we can always do indoor activities or stay inside. What’s there to do out there with family?
Yeah I’m in the valley part of LA I’ve lived here all my life I’ve never seen it this expensive and not to mention I’ve never seen the homeless crisis be this bad it’s so sad. Our food bill for a family of 3 is about 400 dollars it’s so crazy how expensive it has gotten, for a one bedroom it’s almost 2 grand a month not including utilities lol
