My friend on FB posted a video of an epidural taking place and my dumb @$$ watched it. I've never
been so scared in my life 😱😢😔
I had it with my first , wasn't painful getting it. However I had back problems after. With my second I refused epidural because I didn't want anymore back problems, and honestly felt so fantastic after birth.
I had one it wasn’t bad to me at all but each person takes things differently though
Getting a contraction and getting the epidural at the same time is the worst part about it in my opinion.. but I had back contractions so maybe that’s what made it 100x worse lol
@michaelsmommy17 if I'm having bad contractions I may have to pass on the epidural unfortunately. The way I am I'd move and end up paralyzed.
@nolensmommeeplus1 I was afraid of that too but it's so quick honestly and then it's pure relief!
I didn't get it because I was scared of more back issues when I already have back issues. My friend said epidural messed her back up. Her son a is a yr younger than mine and she said next kid she has she will refuse it no matter how bad the pain is. Some moms are glad they got it and have had no issues, but then others say it has messed their back up.
I bet, it's something that's so easy to mess up. Like they stress how important it is not to move at ALL.
I watched a video of it too and I feel like I will faint I'm terrified of needles anyways and just watching that video scared me lol
I was terrified of them. I pass out when I see needles. But surprisingly, I barely felt a thing and literally like a minute later all the pain from the labor disappeared. It’s totally worth it.
