Working in the pet industry for a while now it gets kinda silly. “They are my babies” yes I understand that but wait til you have real babies lol it’s 100% different. You can poop a bowl of food in front of them and it will be gone, but you have to cook 6 different things before your kid will touch it 😂
I always used the term dog mom/ fur babies because they're adorable. It also did ease the baby fever a bit while we were ttc. I was under no impression I was actually a momma yet though. People are wackadoos.

😅😅😂😂my 18 mo daughter does. And my neice used to sniff dog butts and human butts till she was 4 and found out no one else does it. Her reason was that is how dogs say hello. Yes we tried to stop her but sometines it was just to late.
