I am literally considering selling everything I own just so I can pay my car payment. I’m not getting any child support for any of my kids and I’m without job because I can’t afford a daycare or sitter and no one can help watch my kids. I’m so stressed out idk what to do anymore.
Just doesn’t want to pay child support and I’ve been calling and calling and the attorney general just isn’t any help. They have been very rude to me
@juliam27, is the order through child support enforcement or with the courts?
If you enroll into a community college they will watch your children while the hours you are in class you should be able to better yourself for your kids don't depend on a man who's not going to send you money I'm not judging or being rude I just think it's a good option
Also, look into newspaper routes in your area. Again you can bring the kids.
Sign up for door dash and post mates. You can bring your kids with you. Fast, easy good money.
I live in a very small town someone has already tried it and it didn’t workout
@juliam27, drive to another city over? Where I live I’m surrounded by other cities and drive to them when it’s slow where one at.
@sistersmainpiece, it’s almost 2 hours away. I live in a small west Texas town
Sell your car! Get out from under it. Take Dave Ramsey’s financial peace university course, you’ll learn so much, I did! The car you can’t afford is holding you back.
@boymama523, Also check care.com for a sweet nanny or babysitter. You can get better quality one on one care for cheaper! I was a nanny for years and loved those kids like they were mine.
@boymama523, or to make it even sweeter. That can be your job, nannying and caring for your own at the same time! Win win- you don’t have to pay for child care and you’re making money at the same time. Lots of stay at home moms do this. You can do it full time if you wanted
@boymama523, it is technically not mine to sell it’s not under my name it’s under my moms name. I’m making the payments under her name and this is only the second payment I can’t make because I lost my job.
Have you applied for child support and they just haven’t paid? If you haven’t applied, apply. It’s every parents responsibility to provide financially for their child and it’s every child’s right to receive that financial support. It’s definitely not depending on a man like the above stated, it’s called holding a man to his responsibilities to his child and holding them accountable while you do your part.
