Anyone use this for their exclusively breastfed babies? What are the benefits? My pediatrician gave this to me at Violets appointment in a bag full of other products like sample lotions and Tylenol, bath soaps. He said I could give it to her but didn't say why I should or what exactly he benefits are? Just that they recommend it for breastfed babies.

Vitamin D is synthesized when we’re out in the sun. Since people are mostly inside, we need to supplement it. It is not transferred in breast milk. Personally, I don’t recommend this brand of vitamin D because you have to give baby like a full mL and it’s disgusting. D drops are just one drop a day
