So her problem with the car seat that comes with the stroller is that it's not soft or enough padding in the car seat and that it sits back to far but it's like that for a reason. The seat looks something like this but wants to put my newborn in a damn seat made 4 a one year old. Also get this the car seat that comes with the stroller is good enough 4 him to walk around with but not ride in. She's talking about some he'll b to small for the one with the stroller I think that's vice versa
So I know many people that skip the infant seat and go straight to the convertible one like the one you posted. I didn’t do that. I got the stroller/ car seat combo. The infant car seats are more convenient to me for young babies because when they fall asleep, you can carry them in places and put them in the stroller to stroll around without waking the baby to get them out of the car. With that being said, my son did grow out of his infant seat by like 7-8 months. He was too long and too fat for it.
My first hated her bucket seat (the stroller combo one) so we switched her to a convertible at like a month old and it was nice and snug and she was able to tolerate it at least. They have a newborn setting and often extra padding that can get removed as they get older. For my second, I wanted the convenance of the bucket seat , so splurged and bought one a bit more pricey, like $170 for just the seat, but it was very padded and comfortable and he loves it. It still connects to the same brand stroller, we just had to by them separately, but it was worth it. Some babies don’t care, but others do! The ones that come with the stroller are often more of a basic edition that aren’t as plush- it’s more expensive, but buying separate can be best (not always necessary though).

This is the one but it was a bit cheaper on Amazon, however, I want to say Safety first makes one that looks snug, that’s cheaper, I would look around.
