As a parent when your kids become teens, how afraid are you that they gonna end up doing some of the stupid and dangerous things you did?
Y'all I hear so many sad stories about rebellious kids and stuff. But this morning I heard about a 16 year old. She stole her mom car. Some how got distracted. Had a head on collision and killed a man! Please pray for both families. My heart dropped! My sister and her friends, my mom, and a girl I use to hang with use to take our parents cars without permission! I thank God that never happened to us. Nor hope my girls ended up like that!
My husband used to do that when he was younger too. How terrifying though. Like you said, I feel sorry for all parties involved in that.
The way I see if your children are taught right from wrong and what consequences are they won’t act like hoodlums when they get older. I knew how to act and how not to act when I was a teen. I was taught respect and right from wrong. My children know right from wrong and how to respect people and others property.
I understand what you are saying. My mom was strict with me. And I was even raise around a lot of pastor kids. But it don't always mean that a your child is gonna make the best decision.
@lana30319, if they want to act ignorant they can suffer the consequences. I know I’ve raised them to make smart decisions.
Im really not looking forward to it my daughter already acts like shes older than she is...
