Suppper super pissed that my MIL somehow thought it was okay to take off with my debit card to pay…

Damm I would of been pissed off too 😩. Although my mil is the best and she’s done a lot for me and my husband. No one is allowed to get your personal belongings. How was she able to do that with your card?

@hazelmaplewood, @ddsr, so we’re currently living with her and she’s been in and out as far as living here because of this boyfriend she has 🙄 we pay are part and ask to be included in bills because we want to earn the space we have. She gets back from another break up wining to my husband if the bill isn’t paid soon the electricity will be shut off. So we’re having to pay the electric plus the late fee attached. My husband asked me if I can call and pay and I’m like sure, but I don’t have the account number so I have him call her to get it, she says it’s her phone number, so I call the place and it’s not her phone number so we tell her she needs to call and get her account number. She tells us hours later when the company is closed and won’t be open until tomorrow (this happened Saturday evening) and then I’m like okay well we need to do it online so I’ll need the password, which she also doesn’t know 🙄 then she asks my husband to ask me to send a picture of the card and I say no. I’m like you can stand with her while she pays and give me back my card after but I don’t want her to have the numbers. And while I gave my card to him I went in the room because I was busy doing stuff and I also don’t care to be around her. While that was happening she was also trying to get my husband to give her money and when my husband told her “no” she got pissed off and left with my debit card. I was so mad and had my husband handle it. She came back within maybe 10 min or so. Her face too she looked so shocked I didn’t want her having my personal belonging that included private information.

Let me just say ... if that electricity bill had more than a week and half since you got it I will understand her frustration. I would want to pay my bill before it hits the late fee. If you know the electricity bill is almost coming up save that money for when it’s due not after if not you’ll pay more of the price for the late fee. Keep in tract of your bills ! If you’re responsible for a bill always save money for it even If theres a week or 2 left for it to be due . Just save the money so when she ask for it you have it ready .

I know what it’s like living with other people you’ll want your own space . But when you live under someone else’s roof you have to pay at least half of some bill to put your part.
