My aunt and I have been wanting to start our own little daycare thing for years now and we finally have the perfect opportunity to do it. We’re gonna start out as just babysitting a couple of kiddos but eventually I plan to take the classes and be certified. For now though, where would we start price wise and such? I called some of our local daycares to get price ideas and they run anywhere from $155 a week (being our biggest) and $115 a week (being our smallest). We would provide all of the food and equipment and materials. I would be “teaching” the kids like I did when I babysat a few months ago. I don’t know if that really matters or not though idk how other babysitters and daycare employees do things. We don’t have a specific age range as of right now they are mostly school aged and 2-3 toddlers. All together so far I think it’s like 5 kids. We can’t really do too much at the moment until we get licensed and such but I need to make sure we can make enough money for the both of us. I don’t really want to get the short end of the stick.
