Mommies I need help! My baby used to sleep through the nights waking up wanting one bottle but now she’s constantly waking up whining and tossing back and fourth and wants two or three bottles through the night. I’ve done everything I know to and that’s go up on her ounces at night and even keep her up longer during the day. I just don’t know what to do anymore. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
^ 100% agree on the bad habit thing. My husband made the mistake of rubbing our sons back until he would fall asleep during one of the regressions and it took me 2 months to break it.
Sleep regression like others have said. It can be caused by a variety of things but it’s usually due to a big developmental leap. My son would have sleep regressions right before he’d conquer a big new skill like sitting up, crawling, walking, and so on. Just stay consistent and make it through. It’s important not to create any new bad sleep habits while this is happening. It’ll pass soon.
Sleep regression is what it sounds like. I had that problem and I started (with doctor approval) giving her cereal before bed. Helped a but with her sleeping longer and not being as hungry through the night.
Sleep regression, not really much you can do but comfort/soothe your baby as best as you possibly can and have patience because eventually your baby will get back on track with her sleeping, just have patience.
She could also be adjusting to comforting herself back to sleep. It takes a bit of patience. We went through it and each time he woke up we waited longer and longer before going in. Never took a bottle in with us comforted him until he was ok and let him put himself to sleep. She could also be going through a growth spurt.
