So let’s talk contractions... *TMI*

Finally noticed a pattern today. For the last hour or so I’ve had a tightening that starts at the top of my uterus and radiates down. Hubby and I did the deed this morning and I felt a rush of fluid when I was walking to the bathroom.. tmi but it didn’t smell like anything nor was it white on the towel. So maybe my water broke? I’m not sure. But that coupled with what I think are contractions.. I’m not sure what to do! 😅 if they are contractions, they’re going every 4-7 minutes and for about 45-65 seconds long. Any advice??

Went and got checked! My water hasn’t broken, but I am having consistent contractions. They sent us home until my contractions get more painful and closer together. 🙌🏻

I would get checked at L&D if you think your water broke! When I had my son I was leaking fluid and they wanted baby out in 24 hours without any regular contractions until they fully popped my water!

I'd definitely get checked if there's even a chance that it was your water breaking or leaking.

I would go get checked. When I had my son the contractions stayed at every 7-8 minutes. When I got to the hospital I was already at 5cm.

You're supposed to head over to L&D if your contractions are about 5 minutes apart, a minute long and have gone on for longer than an hour. If they go for longer than 5 minutes apart you're supposed to start the hour over. The fluid would have me worried though. Are you wearing a liner? Have you had any other fluid? If you think your water possibly broke I would call. They'll probably have you come in to check and be safe.

They are 2 far apart to be anythung serious yet but definitely sounds like the start. You can try a warm bath, walking or sitting on a yoga ball.
