My poor boy. Hasn’t had a fever since Wednesday, but today took a 3.5 hour nap at my moms, was awake for an hour and a half, then went to bed an hour early. I think the sores in his mouth and throat are blistering (Coxsackie sucks) and he’s trying to heal. He hates being tired though.

@mommakayla18, I know! They don’t think I’ll last the week, and he’s a kisser.... The doc said that once the fever is gone for 24 hours he’s not contagious anymore, but as long as his throat is still sore I’m not taking any chances

ya I don’t blame you. My son had sores for like a week it looked horrible. He got it from going to a birthday party.

@mommakayla18, I’m pretty sure he got it at the mall. He went on one of those coin operated rides, and he likes to bite his nails in the car.....

All 3 of my kids have it in their throat as well. Thankfully the baby doesn't have it but he has one little sore on his chin. I'm hoping my milk did it's job and that's why he didn't get it bad.... I hate it! A couple Easter's ago they got it really bad. I hope your son feels better soon!

Thanks! He’s sleeping a lot and only eating soft foods, but at least the fever is gone and he’s starting to drink again.

@scidg3, thankfully his fever is gone at this point. Hopefully it stays away. He needs to go to school next week so I can finish things for the new baby. I got nothing done this week with him attached to my hip
