I put Juliet (my 6y-o)in gymnastics at age 4, but then she broke her collarbone (unrelated to tumbling or gymnastics) so we switched to tae kwan do. Been in that for about a year and a half.
it’s good so far, she is enjoying it. I didn’t expect her to progress as fast as she has, but at this age she learns like a sponge. it’s helped with burning extra energy and behavior and structure as far as discipline. She’s made friends and learned confidence for standing up for herself and others too.👍🏾 her instructor is very willing to help her which is always a plus.

I used to do gymnastics you can start at any age just start but taking them to an open gym one day to try it out I’ve seen all ages

Gymnastics usually start as young as 3-4 depending on your area.
My nephew was in competitive cheer at age 4
