I wouldn’t , their skin is still very sensitive . If you have detergent for sensitive skin it can also work ( without the heavy perfumes etc) .

Yes. That's all I have ever done. No point in wasting money on "special" detergents unless you are washing everything in the house in that same one bc baby comes in contact with your clothes and blankets, etc. Unless baby is having some kind of negative reaction to the normal laundry detergent using your regular one is best in my opinion. We use what we like and have never had a problem. Best wishes.

As long as baby doesn’t have a reaction, you are ok. I use tide with everything, including his cloth diapers

I did it from the start. Just give the cycle and extra rinse if your washer has that option

It depends on baby. My daughter had to have specific detergent untill recently. My son's never had a problem though.
