How long were you ladies in labor for?
And how much of that time did you try to stay home as long as possible before baby came?

Yes thank God for family being available. Thank you for sharing your experience. My oldest is 9 years so I'm a bit rusty lol. I'm already having contractions with lower abdominal pain but its irregular so I'm just a walking contraction right now 😔 I'm so anxious to meet him. I've never looked forward to contractions the way I do right now lol
@qd.sweet619, good luck😊 walk a lot it does help . i was to anxious about getting the contractions I was waiting for them with the first one I tough I was not going to handle them thank god it was pretty fast
With my first baby was 28 hours I went in when I was crying non stop with 4 pushes. with my second 5 hours with 3 pushed born in the car I was 3 mins away from the hospital .my third baby was 9 hours I dint wanted to go but since my second baby was born pretty quick 2 pushes baby came spontaneously doctors were surprise how quickly I was dilated
So you dilate pretty quickly, wow! What was it like giving birth in the car? Did you go to the emergency room or maternity triage inside the hospital?

My first 22 hours start to finish with this new baby I had my first contraction at 4:20pm and I gave birth at 12:30am so about 8 hours total I went to the hospital at 8:21pm because contractions were so close and unbearable
Did you have a lot of Braxton hicks before the real contractions started? 8hours is not bad at all! And congrats on your new little joy if I haven't told you already. 😊
@qd.sweet619, yes been having Braxton Hicks since 25 weeks but these contractions were completely different it was crazy and thank you ❤️
With my first I was induced so like 12 hours but took 35 mins to push him out. My second was so fast I couldn’t even tell you. My third baby was like 2 hours and he was out
@boymomx3 Aaaaand it won't affect your baby with such a strong medication. I need my son to be alert and screaming when he breaks free lol
@qd.sweet619, oh that was both my kids! On top of me screaming because it’s not the head that hurts coming out it’s the shoulders lol

I stayed home until the pain was unbearable. I was not ready to have my baby lol but when I went in I was 8cm and labored 6 hours before I started pushing.
I'll take 6hrs at the hospital over 12 lol was your baby a natural birth?
With my first, about 12 hours from first contraction to birth. Labored at home for about 5 hours before contractions were close enough together to go to the hospital.
My second came much faster though. Only about 5 hours total from first contraction until birth. Spent about 3 hours laboring at home but would've gone in sooner if I could have.
Thank you for Sharing girly... My first lasted 15hrs and the doc told me I was in labor even tho I was at the doc's for an appointment just to see if I could get the epidural or not lol so this round I'm like clueless on what to expect on my own. I'll be home until the contractions get intense or water breaks. This pregnancy is so different. I hope like yours this pregnancy labor goes quicker.
yes with my last two babys it was quick..it was a surprise because i tough i was going to make it. thank god my sister and brother in law took me and I didn’t drive alone my first son saw his baby brother born so at least I wasn’t alone😃they took me to the emergency side to go to the maternity room
