Any suggestions on the easiest/fastest ways to break my daughter from her pacifier? I had planned to have it gone by her 2nd birthday but that didn’t exactly happen 😩 she’s HIGHLY attached to it and I know it’s gonna be a rough journey but I’d really prefer to not have to do it cold turkey cause I’m not sure if either of us could handle that 🤣

Honestly my son WAS ATTACHED to his pacifier i took his away and gave it to him st night ONLY and eventually just did it cold turkey and it was hard for like a week . Then he forgot about it

@kotasmomy2317, it’s not easy but trust me you’ll love not having to worry about it 😂 i did both my kids and my. Youngest was still a baby! He was like 1 . I did it at the same time it was hard but you forget about it

I think cold Turkey is best they will be confused otherwise as to why its ok to use it sometimes and not other time

My cousin did cold turkey with her daughter about the same age as mine is now and she said it really wasn’t as hard as she thought that after day 3 she really didn’t even notice it was gone and has been fine since but I’m terrified lol

we had to do this with Los bottle due to health problems after day 2 he never asked again

Episode of Supernanny, there was a girl who wouldn’t give her pacifier up.
They told the little girl that there are so many other babies that need pacifiers and fairies are on the lookout to collect them to bring to the babies who need one.
If they give them all away then the fairies would come while they’re sleeping and leave them a gift.
Girl was brave and gave them up and quit that day.
Cute story lol.

I ripped it after she bit it off a little and i told her it’s bad it’s broken so she tried sucking it ripped and realized it wasn’t the same so she threw it away lol and never again she was 1 1/2
