My husband had his first day at his new job today. He finished the day at 5. His dad texts me at 5:08 asking how my husbands first day went and I told him he must not have left yet because I hadn’t heard from him. (My husband always calls me when he leaves work) So my husband finally calls me a few minutes later only for our call to be interrupted by his dad calling him. I understand he wants to know how it went but I hate that his parents still don’t understand that checking on his very VERY pregnant wife comes before telling them about his first day. They need to cut the cord. It makes my husband crazier than it makes me.
