Hmmmm 🧐 I’ll say , try not to pick the baby up if not needed even if he’s crying . Try to entertain him with toys in the playpen , cartoons and even letting him sit in the high chair and eat the graduate puffballs that dissolves .... when u pick him up it’ll be to put him down for a nap or changing . I’m thinking of everything I did cause my son is 9 months and I had to un spoil him too lol he wouldn’t let him put him down for ANYTHING! u can even spend time with him on the floor if u have the foam mats .
Thank u it’s hard because i can’t stand to hear him cry n my nana watched him while I’m at work n she’s theeee worst she will hold his bottle n everything for him. When he’s at his dads it’s every man for themselves his dad said he jus ignores the crying I’m like Impossible. He has his own room ima try n start makin him sleep in his crib cuz right now he’s soooo clingy i think it’s cuz i sleep with him
if you’re going to try to get him out of your bed I’ll recommend to start doing it slowly. Start with nap time . So during the day while he naps , let him sleep in his room and next thing you’ll know he’ll be sleeping in his room during the night too . Baby steps 🙃
He’ll grow out it. Right now it’s still normal for him to want to be held and taken care of no matter what, he’s still a baby! He’ll start becoming independent very soon!
Enjoy it. This time will fly away and soon he won’t even want you to hold his hand. Don’t ignore him, if he cries is bc he needs something, food, a change, love, a hug. For me it was kinda easy because he slept first in the bassinet next to me, I was scared to sleep with him all night bc my husband is too big. At 3 months he hated the bassinet and loved the crib. I put a camera to see him all the time and he slept there ever since. After that he slept in his own bed at 2 yo. (Let me mention that really often he comes to my bed like at 4am to cuddle and I let him come🥰).
In the crib he used to wake up frequently until I started to cut out on naps during the day and giving him milk before me going to bed (with him asleep) .
