3 days of a whirlwind trip to Washington DC with Barrington’s 8th grade class! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but when William “approved” me chaperoning I jumped on it like a hot potato! When I could grab a photo with him, I did! He kept asking me if he needed to fake laugh to the side like they do on Instagram! 🤣

I’m being completely honest here - I had the best time! The kids were awesome. Thankfully having 5 kids, 4 of them boys has been good training for me. The teachers/faculty on the trip were amazing. I actually left last night feeling sad to leave Mrs. Carroll and Miss Teoli. The guide we had was incredible and knew exactly how to deal and handle 50 teens. I had the best mom roomie ever. It was 3 days of nonstop rushing around, but I’d do it again next year with Alex in a heartbeat (if he lets me 👍🏼). For all the parents who had kids on the trip, please know I was beyond impressed with how everything was run and handled. 👍🏼
