But did a membrane sweep help any of you ? I know it helps some people and others it don’t work for. But I’m 4cm dilated and about 70 perfect thinned. So hoping for the best.

I’ve never had one done before. I always get scheduled to be induced for whatever reason. An being induced hurt 😂. So I wanna avoid it if I can but this baby don’t wanna come out. So prolly won’t get that lucky lol.
It should help you. I was 4-5cm and went into labor within the hour. My doctor told me to walk nonstop right afterwards and I would be in labor. Sure enough he was right.
Got two membrane sweep with my second and I was 2cm and 75% effaced. Didn't help lol
With how dilated you are it may work, it only works if your body is ready.
It didnt help me because i was barely 1cm. You would probably go into labor if you got it today!
It almost seems like it won’t work at all or will send you into labor within 24hrs!
Girl you better get that sweep you may go into labor today! It helped me. They swept my membrane I was 3cm dilated I went into natural labor less than 12 hrs and had her that next morning. I only let my Dr do it once
@gion.92, I’m at work so I can’t do anything but sit 😫. When I get home in evenings I bounce my butt off on the ball and clean. An walk at the mall. But so far nothing lol

But I was 39.2 weeks when they did it. They may want you to wait a week.
Do you remember how many weeks you were or how much dilated ? With my doctor on vacay idk if they will do it. But ima beg my butt off 😂

Every day 😳😳. That sounds painful. I’m being induced next week and I’m sitting here thinking of any way they can help me go natural before then lol
@momofeach, we tried it because I didn’t want to be induced but she was sitting way low and the pain was so bad and I had 3 other kids so we tried it but it didn’t work and I still had to be induced
I've had several with my other kids and never worked. My last pregnancy I was 5cm and 80% effaced and hsd her 3 days later at 38+2
