As a newborn my son went to bed around 10/10:30. Anything before that was a nap. Then around 7 months he transitioned to an earlier schedule and went to bed at 8:30. He’s been on that bedtime since then. We do dinner at 7:00, bath at 8:00, then he nurses to sleep and is usually in his bed by 8:45/9:00.
I like to have some one on one time before bed. 15mins to 30mins of play time with my undivided attention, we play with her in her room with some soothing music on low.
Get her in the bath but never let her play (because I just played with her and I want her to know we are getting ready to seep and we need to wind down) we brush our teeth together.
Lotion, and braids in her hair. She picks out a book, gets in bed and turns the pages while I read to her & we say prayers and I walk out. ❤️ bedtime is at 8
Noah’s routine starts at 7. 7 is bath/shower time, after bath we do lotion and jammies, then we have a snack by 730 and he sits on the couch with his snacks and watches some shows on his tablet and has his melatonin gummies(that’s only a must for my son lol) at 8 we get a bottle and his blanket does his rounds of goodnight for whoever is home then we go upstairs and lay in bed until he falls asleep usually by 810-820. I learned around 3mo old he needed a very strict schedule or he wouldn’t sleep, he’d get so tired that he wouldn’t sleep. Before that he’d go to bed so late(I hadn’t yet figured out how to get a routine down good for him) that he was so tired he couldn’t sleep good or not at all.
If my big one takes a nap before 4: I try to hold her of from napping until I shower her around 8-9pm and by 10 she’s getting a snack and milk to watch tv (elmo, pocoyo) and by 11: she should be in my bed or hers with the TV on. At 12 I turn the tv off if she’s still awake and cuddle her to sleep. With my 3mo old i wont let her nap after 7:pm so I can shower her also and milk. By 10 or 11 she should want another milk so another milk and to her crib. I try to not let her sleep on me so she can learn to sleep on her own when I put her down... because my big girl usually hates to go to sleep on her own and it’s not always convenient.

Bath time at 7pm. Rub lotion on her, brush her hair, give her a sippy cup with milk lay in bed with her and she’s sleeping by 8pm every night. We co-sleep
For my little one, i usually just go off by her schedule when she is tired. But at night, i do change her into a “ Swaddle Up “ Im not that great at swaddling and the “ Swaddle Up “ makes it easier for late night diaper changes. &’ I dont have to worry about her being cold or getting loose 😂 When she gets older, i will most likely use the “ Halo Sleepsacks “. Thats what we did for our oldest as well. As far as a routine, after diaper and outfit change, i will feed her. Then rock/bounce her to sleep, as soon as she starts dozing off, i set her down and she soothes herself to sleep.
