Josiah is going through a biting phase... he just bit his sister cause she had his blanket! 🤦🏻♀️ anyone else went through this with a little one and how did you deal with it!?
My daughter does this when she’s mad and I still don’t know how to deal with it 😩😭
My son bit me once, I immediately had him bite himself. He’s never bit again
My daughter is starting this and shes about to be two i spank lightly(on her butt) her cause using lemons isnt working shes broken skin already on her brother
We used the daycare strategy. Make a big deal about the injured person, have him go with you to help, have him hold the ice in place for the injured child. Ask them to apologized and use "no" instead next time.
@wellabean0413 it's how they solve it and it works well. My youngest hasn't tried yet. But I'm also pushing hard for them to use their words *no* *mine* *my turn*. It seems to help. Biting is normal for kids who are frustrated and can't or don't know how to use their words.
Yes. And honestly our oldest didn't stop until my MIL did it to him as hard as he had done it to his brother and cousins. I couldn't do it.
He's about to drive me crazy with the biting! He bit his brother worse than this the other day..
@mommy_x3 there were a few bites that caused bleeding. I was pregnant at the time and the thought of biting Jensen made me cry so when my husband said he would all I could do was think how upset I would be doing it to him and I didn't want him to be upset for doing it either. Luckily for me my MIL was a single mom to 4 and has 13 grandkids so it was just another day for her.
The kid I babysat was a biter and he bit like 10 times that day he has 6 siblings. I asked his mom and she said yes so when he bit again I bit him back. He was 3. Stopped biting he would just go up to them and bite them on the back they wouldn’t be doing anything now is 10 years old and still loves me.
