Alrighty Ladies, we all know a yeast infection or UTI all too well...:( just need some reassurance. I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant with a killer yeast infection. Went to the doctor today for my first prenatal visit and she prescribed me tetroconazol prescription strength cream. I didn’t specifically ask if it was safe for the baby, because why would she prescribe it? Butttttt I’m scared to put anything in my body I’m not sure of! Any of you mamas experience something similar to this and can ease my mind? I’ve been staying away from the internet because it will tell you the worst. LOL.
I had the same thing happen to me. I was early in my pregnancy & got one but she gave me some kinda pill I only had to take once which I never ever had before. I didn’t ask either because it just didn’t even cross my mind tbh. I had been used to not being pregnant & not having to think about it & before I took it I got paranoid but it didn’t say anything to reassure me on the medication itself. But I called my doctor & she reassured me it was completely safe they often prescribe this to pregnant women because they find it better which made me feel better. As long as your doctor is aware you’re pregnant, she more than likely prescribed you something safe. Hope it helps you babe💜
it’s safe, I used it when I was pregnant. also look up some natural remedies to get rid of yeast infections. I used yogurt, tea tree oil mixed w olive oil, itch cream. each time I have to use something different bc my body got used to everything overtime
