Ladies with cats and or kittens...
So I just got two kittens Male and female. They were previously barn cats and when I brought them home they will just run and hide under the couches or in the bathroom. I just got them yesterday so I know they are a little frightened, but what do I do to make them feel at home? I know they have little to no human interaction and I just want them to bond with our family ! Any ideas ? Should I leave them alone and let them do their thing or force them to interact (holding them, keeping them in the same room).

You need to keep them in a bathroom for a bedroom for around a week and slowly acclimate them to the rest of the house.

And if they don’t know each other. Keep them in separate rooms and switch them a couple times a day so they get the scent of the other cat.

And then you eventually bring them together.

Okay !! And they are brother and sister so they are great together !! So I'll just keep them in the bathroom with their litter box for a little while and I'll make some chicken to give them too !! That's a super good idea! Thankyou guys !!! @spookylyn @squishymommy1

Also don’t worry if they don’t want to eat or seem not hungry. It can take a few days when they get to a new place. Some cats acclimate faster then others.

Okay good, I've been stressed because my cousins got the third kitten from the litter and they said hes doing amazing and playing and not scared at all. But mine are super scared and doesnt wanna come play or eat or anything
