@kedrababy, I’m not going to ask him. Just because 1. I want that excitement of him asking me. And 2. The way he talks about our future and how he refers to me as his future wife and not his gf reassures me that it will be coming in the future.
@db413, @massmomma16, so they just made me think.... and my bf was with his ex for 5 years and they never got married. That’s scary to me lol. I already told him I don’t wana wait that long. But I don’t want us living together beforehand to dispute me still wanting marriage .. if that makes sense
A man will know before 5 years if he wants to marry you! I do believe couples should live together before marriage. Living together can change things. But if he asked asked by 4 years it’s likely to me that he has no intentions. But all relationships are different!
Me and my bf have been together for almost 3 years. We have lived together for a little over 2. And even though we aren’t engaged. He refers to me as his future wife. Not his gf or fiancé. I was with my ex for 5 years. Every intention of getting married. But he never talked about our future or anything. As @massmomma16, said. He will know before 5 years if he really wants to spend his life with you. It’s all in how he shows you and tells you.
@db413, @massmomma16, i was listening to twintalk and the lady was complaining that her bf hadn’t proposed and they’ve been living together for 11 years with like 7 kids and they said well “why would he want to marry u if he’s getting all the benefits of being married already?”

No. Guys will marry a woman IF they love them regardless. If that prevents a man from marrying...he never had intentions of marriage.
Not at all. I see living with your boyfriend as a pretrial. What if you were to get married and then move in together and your styles of living didn’t match.
