So my daughter hasn’t really been sick before. 2 weeks ago she got a cold. It lasted about 4-5 days. Since then she has had a lingering cough and runny nose only at night. And only some nights does it wake her and she has a coughing fit before finally getting back to bed. Is it normal for a cough to linger this long and only be at night or should I consider the doctor? She’s perfectly fine during the day and at night it’s about 50/50. That’s why I’m so torn on whether to go be seen or let it run its course.
