When I stumbled upon this quote it really hit me. I have reached a point in my life where I try to live just like this. You know what I discovered? Myself....I’ve found that inner woman that was there but hidden among all of the self hate, the negative criticism and picking out all my flaws. I stopped feeding that beast and out of it emerged a happier person. I no longer give in completely to those thoughts, I won’t deny that sometimes I feel a little self doubt but I’m only human. All I have hoped to find was a way out of the cycle that kept me buried in my own mind. Trapped by the constant nit picking I was doing to myself. I decided it needed to stop and now I plan to continue to live ukiyo, because it’s a happier place to be.
