I wouldnt until after 3 years. Give her a nice warm soothing bath with lavender scents. But keep bath time a calm down time. And I'd do it about 15-30mins before bedtime.
@arose31, her next appointment is not for a few months. I’m starting her on toddler homeschooling curriculum and I’m hoping getting her on a schedule will help
I’d ask your doctor my daughter was 1 and was going on a plane for the first time and her doctor told me to give her the zarbee’s melatonin. About 15 min before we got on the plane or about 30 min before we landed. It worked great she slept on and off most of the flight. Doctor told me to give her another one after she had surgery if she had any issues sleeping. My doctor told me to only give her a half a pill at first to see how she adjusted to it. Now that she’s 2 she’ll be 3 in December she gets one some nights she wake up having a night mare. She wakes up and screams so bad and it’s hard to get her to actually wake up out her sleep and if she does she looks terrified and refuses to sleep so she’ll get one to help her fall about asleep. Definitely not a regular thing. Something to talk to you doctor about. If it’s just to help your little one sleep trying some sleep music there is on on YouTube that works really well. My oldest doctors counselor recommend it when she was having troubles sleeping he had her do that and she slept great now she sleeps without it. Sorry so long lol
