My pediatrician said no peanut butter until after 1. But she recommended waiting until baby was big enough to indicate having a reaction since peanuts are one of the biggest common foods that cause allergic reactions.
My daughters ped said the same thing. She’ll be 2 next month and still loves peanut butter. I was kinda scared to give it to her and made sure my SO was home just in case something did happen and in case I had a panic attack cause he’s good at staying level headed in scary situations. Nothing ever happened. Just try a little spoonful, or wait till you’re comfortable with trying it out

I was told if no severe peanut allergies are in the family to start at 6 months with a little bit so it will build up in their immune system.
