Ok mom's so I got another one for u. So circumcisions on boys what do y'all think? I'm unsure like I hear it's hard to take care of baby after the surgery. Also happy belated mother's day. I got one more 4 the woman like me this is ur first kid and they haven't been born how do y'all feel about celebrating mother's day. Personally I didn't celebrate it.
I didn’t want to circumcise our son but my husband did. So we did and the dr. who did it, didn’t do it correctly. He left so much skin and to be honest it’s a hassle to clean, which is no big deal. But I was pretty upset for the simple fact that one he went through pain and the damn dr. Couldn’t even do it right.😩
It’s actually very common for doctors to leave skin, because when you cut on a babies penis they are very small and it’s very normal to take too much. He would rather want skin to grow into versus having too much skin removed which will lead to very painful erections in the future
@nurseflowforlife, I know, but no this wasn’t done right at all. We got a second opinion because we were going to have it fixed but it’s not worth it for my baby to go through that pain. It wasn’t done right. But thanks for the info though!👍🏼
we chose circumcision for my son. for one, my husband is circumcised, also I knew boys in school who would get picked on for not being circumcised, as pathetic as that sounds, it happened & the guys were terribly self conscious.
& it wasn't that hard to take care of afterwards, healed in a couple of weeks. I just kept it wrapped with vaseline bandages...
My son is circumcised, & the procedure went simple, I kept it clean each diaper change and it healed within 7 - 10 days, my son is 3 months now and everything still looks great, no problems or concerns.
Both my boys are circumcised. Easy care and clean after it was done and had no issues healing.
i came across your instagram account today lmao, i was searching through some hashtag and was like that username sounds familiar. small world 😂
We didn’t circumcise my son. I had my husband decide. I watched the documentary on Netflix and that reassured me that we made the right decision for our son.
Glad I had a girl so I didn’t have to make this decision. But I do believe if I have a son he will be circumcised but I will leave the decision to my husband who has a penis and would know better than I do how it would or wouldn’t effect sons life.
We didn’t celebrate mother’s or Father’s Day with our first (pregnant)
I got my son Circumcised. It was easy to keep clean and take care of. Healed with no issues. I asked the dr. Who did it many questions to make sure the chance if mistakes was minimal. I don’t regret my decision. Especially when it comes to teenage years where guys aren’t very big on hygiene. If we have another son, I’ll do it again without a doubt.
im personally “anti” circumcision. but as far as i know there’s not that much after care required & im sure it’s pretty easy to take care of. just make sure you look into it, try to avoid information from websites from organizations with names “intactivist” or “procirc” because they’ll be biased.
The chances of infection, tying a helpless infant down to cut off apart of their body? No thanks. I did it for my first son and regret it so much.
