@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
In need of some help. My son is extremely tired and upset. He keeps screming for his dad and he wont go to bed. I dont know what to do. He has been cranky for over an hour but he just started screaming :/ im so lost. I feel so bad for him
Where is/was your 3 month old sleeping? So my baby boy has out grown his bassinet. I don't feel quite ready to have him sleep in his own room in his crib. Thinking about trying a trial run tonight though because he's too big for the bassinet and we don't want him in the bed with us. Lol my husband said we could bring the crib in the bedroom but it's so big and would be such a pain to get it/have it in the bedroom. I don't know what to do? 😐
Noah's new bed, his cot ready for the new arrival in November! ? we can already hear him roaming around the bedroom ?
Trigger. Our precious boy Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.

Sounds like he’s overtired which can cause that burst of energy. Try getting him down earlier if possible. But in general it’s normal for kids to fight bedtime.

@ek_ no that's not possible, it's a regression but I just don't get the crying fits since he won't go to bed/is actually not tired since he gets super excited when putting him to bed

@ek_ he went from a 7pm bedtime to like 10-10:30 as of now so he doesnt need to go down earlier, 7 was his earlier bedtime. And the point is he won't sleep at 7 anymore or even 8 or 9 it has to be after 10pm, as well hes been waking up from about 2am-5am every night so it's definitely a regression not overtiredness.

If it’s a regression then there’s not much you can do other than let it pass. How much sleep does he get each night? How many naps? It definitely sounds like being overtired is contributing to it. That’s not a criticism of you by any means, it’s very easy for babies to get overtired or overstimulated. Missing that crucial “sleep window” means they’ll be up for hours, like you described.

Could he be teething/ molars coming in? Maybe too much sleeping during the day? We have the same issue right now and I'm going to try for one nap during the day instead of two.

@erikak yea he's teething but I gave him meds so he shouldn't be in any pain. And no he's already been down to one nap for the past 3 months

Maybe try not napping him at all then? That might work, but I don't know.
