Well my Mother's day consisted of...no fancy breakfast (3 day stale donut and some corn chex), church, we went to Applebees which was nice but I had to ask to go out to lunch otherwise I would've made lunch, a nice nap, and took a shower...and I had to remind my hubby that it was mother's day...😔 it's my second mother's day (technically 3rd if ya count when my first was on the inside and also technically it's my first with two kids) and it's just nice to be a little bit appreciated....

Yeah but I had to ask for it and he had to think about it otherwise I would've been cooking my own mother's day lunch...

I feel ya. This is my 3rd Mother’s Day and first with two kids. Hubby slept in late while I got up at 6:30 am with my 2 year old. I made lunch for my daughter and put her down for a nap and then went shopping with the baby since hubby was just sitting around watching YouTube videos. I got nothing. Didn’t expect a gift but a happy Mother’s Day and a chance to sleep in would have been nice...

He actually did forget that it was mother's day...he sat all afternoon playing a video game, my daughter and I were asleep (which I thought would've been the perfect opportunity to sneak out to get a little something, didn't have to be a big fancy thing) but no...then he went out to get some drinks for us (again another perfect opportunity to get something) but yet again nothing...I'm actually a little bit hurt cause today may as well been another day to him
