My 4 yr old needs it sometimes. Just don't over use it

If that's what they wanna do I don't see the problem. I wouldn't do it every night.

It’s naturally occurring in our brain and it will not be effective immediately but overtime it can help children stay asleep.
I think it’s safer than anything else for children that have a very hard time sleeping.

I wish it helped my sil son stay asleep. He wakes up every night between 2-4 no matter how late my mil lets him stay up screaming like crazy cause of night terrors. They give him the same amount that my almost 5 year old nephew takes. He takes it cause he’s adhd & it’s the only thing that’ll whine him down enough to sleep. My mil gives it cause they have never did a set bedtime schedule or routine.

I personally don’t agree with it. Our body’s naturally produce it. I know there are kids who have a hard time sleeping but I just think a lot of parents over use it when it’s really not needed for the kids who have no trouble sleeping.

I personally don’t agree with it either. I’d rather play my kids out.

@coffee_is_the_new_black, @lakota-winyan, my nephew who’s almost 5 takes the gummies cause he’s always so hyped up (he’s adhd) he cant relax enough to drift off to sleep. But my mil gives my sil son the same amount my sister gives her son & it’s a every night thing. He has awful night terrors every night. She doesn’t give it to him at the same time every night either some nights it’ll be at like 8 then others at like 12. It’s not my personal choice & never will be. We prefer our kids to run & play their energy out. I’ve just noticed a lot more parents using the supplements for sleeping even when it’s not needed.

I think a lot of parents try and take the easy way out with medication.
