Concerned mama out here.. Anyone familiar with hiccups and what to watch out for? Just curious because my baby boy has been hiccuping at the same time every day for 3 days and was wondering if this is unusual? His usually last exactly if not a minute more, 10 minutes. One day it was a little over 15 minutes. Any input appreciated 🥰
Edit: this is about fetal hiccups!!!
@petals, especially! Just like how practice breathing teaches them how to breath on the outside, and how kicking and punching works their leg and arm muscles. A strong diaphragm is important
It’s nothing to be concerned about, my first had hiccups around the same times everyday and night.
My son had them like twice a day!! Normal
Both my kids had hiccups all the time.
It's normal it even says it on pregnancy apps
Thank you and I know it is a normal process just didnt know if it happening every day was something to watch out for bc of the umbilical cord and everything, but thank you for your insight 💖
Hiccups are good! It helps make their diaphragms stronger. This one gets them a few times a day
