When you SO's sister messages you"now I can't wait to know what we are having".... That irrtates me just as much as her mother saying to my daughters pictures I text her. "My baby". Does anyone else's family or in laws do that??

You are right. My family is more stand offish about that but his family isn't. And yeah when I had my first I was so sheltered and young and just said what my parents said and made most decisions till I was like yeah that's enough and had a backbone. Definitely dont let that happen with my 1 year old or this baby now

@anicole3285, I’m glad you got a backbone and are raising your children your way. But I do understand how annoying it is when people refer to your baby as “my baby”.

My family did this both of my pregnancies. And yes it was annoying but it’s also nice to know that so many people will love your baby. Just don’t let them make a bunch of decisions for you.
