I called the pedi but there’s no openings until tomorrow, is it normal for my 1yr old to have a fever but her hands and feet are super cold while the rest of her is super hot?? She has a very runny nose and lots of drool, I see two swollen spots on her gums that are huge (where her Mollars are coming in) can teething cause this all..? She’s never had a issue with any of her other teeth coming in (she has 10)

When my daughter had a fever but was cold she ended up having the flu. Something happens to me when I get it.😫

Yes molars are worse with symptoms

Give her 5 ml of Motrin/ibuprofen it lasts longer then Tylenol and it helps with the swelling

I was concerned when Mack had croup cough he had a fever and his hands and feet were freezing to the touch. Doctor said that small children can’t regulate their temp like we can with a fever so their hands and feet get cold or something in that range but totalllyyy normal
