Why Did My Son Need Multiple Blood Tests After a Fever?

Followed up from my sons past appointment with his doctor for him not eating much and losing weight while sick with that fever virus and she decided she wanted to take blood for lab work looking for any underlying problems

Nurses couldn’t find a vein and stuck my lil man in both arms. Then sent us to the hospital for them to have to stick him again! Luckily they were able to get it this time. Lab results came back though and everything checked out well except a low platelet count that we have to go back for next month for more blood 😩😩 my son is going to be terrified of doctors

has anyone heard about having to have a shot because of your blood type?!? a friend told me she was O- (negative) and had to have a shot mid way through pregnancy because if she didn't her blood would fight off the babies blood like it was an infection or disease. I don't know what my blood type is but if it's anything negative like she said I'm going to be asking the doctor!! that's crazy to me!

This is my first pregnancy with a lot of complications. I have problems with my blood pressure and severe pains. I have a doctor appointment in the morning and my foot is super swollen to the point it looks like it's going to bust. I don't know what they usually do with feet that look like it's bout to bust and high blood pressure together. I will be 34wks and 4days tomorrow I really don't won't him to come early but I also don't won't to put him in danger either.
