It's this girl I know from my town that had a gender reveal and it was revealed she was having a girl. Well thought anyway, she went got an ultrasound today & found out it was really a boy. She said she got the ultrasound at 15 weeks so they mustve mistaken the gender. Girl i would flip everything in that ultrasound room over if I thought I was having a damn girl & it's a boy😂😂😂

That's why I always tell people I know you're in a hurry to find out gender but when you try to find out too early (unless by blood) there is a 50% chance it is wrong. And people always wanna get mad at me for saying that but this is why they tell you wait until AT LEAST 16 weeks and even that's kinda early. 18 weeks is the most accurate.

And you're right! Esp if they get a tech that dont really know what to look for. They do tell you by 12 weeks though baby's gender can be seen. I wouldn't trust it unless it's done by blood

lol and no at 12 weeks the genitals start becoming more distinct but that's START and that's where people get it confused it's starting to become formed but it takes weeks after that to actually BE distinct to where the difference is spotted clearly. You do get the occasional time that if baby in a specific place and you have a REALLY good Really experienced technician you might be able to earlier but I wouldnt chance it. They genitals haven't developed yet.

Well for me at 12 weeks they did the Harmony test and an ultrasound and they were spot on it was definitely a girl. I always get ultrasounds around that time and being so anxious I compare to see what the gender is to make it more fun for me. I go by what my Dr tell me and honestly they don't know everything. I'm just happy it didn't happen to me I would be upset
