Although I’m positive I had all my shots growing up cuz we needed them to be in school- my OB says as soon as baby boy comes out I need the MMR vaccine. I’m so confused..

Same happened to me. When they do your initial blood work when pregnant it shows if the vaccine is in your system or not. I had the vaccine after I had my first because it showed up that I didn’t have the vaccine in my bloodwork. My doctor had no explanation really for it besides that some people’s body reject certain vaccines. When you get the MMR again it may be fine.

I had to get the chicken pox and rubella vaccine again after birth, somehow I lost immunity...I was fine with my first but I guess things change after years lol

I don't have the rubella immunity even though I was vaccinated growing up. some ppl just don't take to it. I didn't get the vaccine again though...honestly I'm thinking about getting it again with these outbreaks happening.
