For the first time I got her to fall asleep in her crib after 45min of patting and talking while she mostly starred at me. I am just doing little practice runs because her pediatrician wants me to get her in her crib in the next few weeks. She has already rolled over and is doing things like laying her leg over the side of the bassinet and shifting onto her side slightly when she is on her back. So there is a concern she might flip and suffocate in the bassinet as she gets stronger. But she woke up 15min later crying with a dirty diaper and I couldn't sooth her back to sleep after I changed her. Standing there I was falling over asleep myself while she cried, so back into the bassinet that lays in bed with me she went. Sleep training is going to be rough.
