I originally started working at the shop I’m at back in 2010 when I was 20 years old, so our long time customers have watched me grow up in a way. I left in 2014 and came back in 2017. I told everyone I had a second son in the meantime and everyone was so supportive. Well, I had an older lady- long time customer come in and we were talking about my boys and she asked how they were so I told her “I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’m having a third boy!” And she was so excited, shocked, and amazed when I told her “yeah, I told my husband “let’s try for another” and BAM! I was pregnant!” And she called me fertile mertle. 😭 I thought it was funny. She apologized when she came back to pick up her car and I told her I wasn’t bothered by it at all. That’s been my nickname by my nana for awhile now. 😂 I just love that people who have watched me grow get to continue watching me grow professionally and as a mother.
