How do you tell someone you really like that your pregnant(not by them obviously) but I've known him for about a year now and we never dated but we did have sex I did stay with him before and he doesn't know I'm pregnant but I like him and want a relationship with him but I'm scared to tell him

That's so true and great advice it's really helpful because that's what I was thinking before I made this post to do a hypothetical or something in that nature
Just tell him. If he feels the same he will accept it esp if it was before you even met him
Well it wasn't before I met him but we weren't talking really at all when It happened but he tells me everything and i know he expects the same from me and i don't know why I'm scared to tell him because even if he doesn't accept it i know I'll be just fine eventually I'll move on and be good but i just don't want to loose him even as a friend because he's a really good one
I went through the same thing. I was talking to someone else before I got pregnant. My friend however got real distant. Maybe he'll be able to cope after I have the baby but he stop wanting to see me. Guess he cant take it. But I hope it works out for you. Like you said if he cant accept it you'll be fine either way.
I know he's just a great friend and I don't want to loose him or for him to pull back on being my friend because he feels like I wasn't honest with him or something when in reality we're just friends so he might feel like I should've told him because it's not like we're together so why would I need to hide it from him idk I just don't know how to feel and I feel like these hormones are taking over and I want to hold out because I want to know if I'll feel the same after the baby
I know I'll still like him because even before I was pregnant I wanted to be with him but we were living different lives at the time
Start with a theoretical to see where his mind is on the subject and then create your reveal based off of that because then you can hold him accountable for his feelings because when it's a floating idea of what if then they can react differently than what they would if it was real life but it also means they couldve easily lied to you initially and then you be left with a shocking truth afterwards. Sometimes they care how it effects you other times they are like meh sorry but that's how I feel cant take it back or change it type of response. My husband lied to me for 2yrs about kids and the truth came out between 16-20wks along it sucked and it's been hard but per my post I just made you'll see that things are turning out for the better for me by myself vs the other way of he had continued to lie
